Joy2Key allows you to autoclick and autoloot. It lets you hold for example a controller button down and allows you to set up how many clicks/strokes per second are done while holding the button. Meaning in a drop or event you have a chance to pick things up I think 100 times faster then anyone else can. I forget how fast it is, maybe it is 50 not 100. No one will have a chance unless they use something as fast as you. Hitting the loot key fast is better than holding it down if you did not know. With Joy2Key it makes you a god. On that, since you can also map mouse clicks you can use it as an auto clicker. Again, unless someone is using an auto clicker no one will have a chance at getting into that pq room. Nexon can not really tell if you are using such a thing, but if they do find out people have been banned for auto clicking. But it CAN be used as a form of cheating, you have been warned.

I used JoyToKey for around 3 months and didn't get banned. I don't see why you would want to use a controller though its so much harder to talk while you play since you gotta put the controller down to type.

You will only get banned if you use it as an autoclick/loot. However it is not likely they will know you are using it as such anyways. It is rare to see someone using autoclick get banned because it is not easy to see that they are doing it, simple as that.

You can map pick up to multiple keys which is nifty since you can do it to all four directions and pick up items no matter how you move. Also if you are kind of used to the pick up method in a game such as GO, you can map it to down. You could map pick up to pretty much every other key you have an action for since it doesn't slow you down in MS, even your attacks.
I map pick up to UP Arrow only for MS though and it works fine for me.

For gameplay it can be better since you can map a bunch of keys to the joysticks

You can play with the controller using your hands and have a keyboard sitting in your lap. It's not as cumbersome as you'd imagine. That worked for a lot of people who used to play PSU from a PS2 and found that the on screen keyboard was too slow for typing messages.

They have pretty small USB keyboards out there that are good if you can type with one hand, which is especially good for ambidextrous people.

I've been using joytokey myself recently on MS (and a number of other games) and haven't triggered anything. Many people use a controller + joytokey to play MS and have been doing so for quite a while. There's a site on it where a number of archers posted their configs.

I honestly just started using JoyToKey for Maple Story just a few days ago. It shouldn't be a problem using them honestly, but knowing Nexon it just might be. Lame!

Well I don't use it to auto click lol I don't use it to emulate the mouse at all cause the mouse is right there and I can always reach for it when I need it.

I only map about 6 buttons to my joypad from my keyboard and only my main skill is autofire to 2.

    She knows how to party.
