Play Wakfu or something. Dofus is garbage compared to the CBT phases of Wakfu. Same game, better graphics.

as for Dofus 2.0 "got delayed" you will be able to play it tomorrow on a brand new server only afterwars when they will rehaul problems that dofus 2.0 have they will migrate tham to the original server.

Wakfu is "the same style" but not the same gameplay . dofus still dominates Wakfu in term of "fun"

I played this game for 3 years. I'm sure we played the same game. As far as being a great game goes. It would be even BETTER if multi-clienting was restricted. Other then that it just becomes a single player game.

I agree that multi clienting is bad , it should be restricted to be able to party up with other players .

the issue with this game is bots. there are millions of em lol and they lag your game too no matter how kickass ur pc is. but i might give this 2.0 thing a try. i heard its on a new server and gets 2x xp+drops for 2 weeks. so itll take some time before its flooded with bots i hope.
subsciption is freaking cheap though. u can even pay by phone lol

then u must have played on a less popular server maybe? in Rosal in the first big town once like 5 bot partys enters your screen it slows down your game like crazy, unless your on lowest quality. i thought it was just me at start but allot of people seem to have slowdowns

Actually let me speak, for I have played since the beta. First off, I'm on rushu, the most populated english-speaking server, and once u get past lvl 20 u rarely see bots when outside of Astrub. The community's pretty good if you know the right people. Now beta might have been lagging cuz their dishing out all there money on 6-8 alts there, which is totally unesecary. After playing that game for that long, not once did I ever use multiple characters, you just gotta get friends instead. and for $7 a month its a pretty good deal. I got a 124 Iop, had a 132 Iop, and have played just about every class up to lvl 50 other than Enus. Its a fun game, sure its kinda time consuming, but when u have time to play an MMO thats usually not a bad thing.

PS name on there is Zwen, you can PM me if i ever get a new card since atm i have no p2p.

EDIT: forgot to talk about the f2p zone. The purpose of this zone is for ppl to see if they like the game or not, and then pay. Its purpose is not to be a full on game for f2p.

damn... very tempting. I loved Dofus, the only reason im not playing it anymore is that i could not deal with the ridiculous lag and delay in a large fight. I miss my enutrof greatly

Ill give the game a shot. If I like it enough, ill consider p2p it. I have been looking for a game anyway. Anyone want to suggest me a class/race and/or give me a few tips?

Sure!

Long-ranged: Cra happens to be the best class in this department. His range is un-parralel to any of the other classes, allowing him to attack from INSANELY long distances. Though, in terms of AoE Ranged, the Sadida beats him.

Melee: The Iop happens to be the most RECOMMENDED class due to it's high solo rate, and high damage. Although, there is also the Sacrier, who is a tanker/meat-shield type of class. He's also known as the berserker of Dofus.

Support: In terms of support classes, the Eniripsa pwns. OF course, he's not a solo class, but has lots of buffs, reflection type buffs, and defense increasing ones. Just take note that the Eniripsa is terrible at solo'ing, and can't fight for shit. He's probably a terrible class to choose unless you have someone to help you out. There is also the Osamodas (Summoner) and the Feca (defender), both are moderate at solo'ing, but the Feca has the easiest time because of his defense boosting skills. The trade-off between the Osa and the Feca is the powerful summons you can get later on.

Click on the little Star like symbol before the objective. It only works for NPC's.

Below, on the minimap, you should get an arrow pointing to the location of the NPC, you can also tell where you need to go by finding a blue NON-WHITE OUTLINED DOT on the minimap.

Haha, I failed my first dungeon fight. I was un-satisfied with my Sacrier, so now I'm deciding between a Cra or a Iop.

@Osa build: YES. Follow this one. It's by far, the most powerful in the end-game (from what I heard.) You'll be pretty safe with this build. I used this on my Osa once and took down a Warchief with just Ghostly Claw and some Tofu.

The game only has a small area on the server where people can play for free a town and a hunting field , if you want to unlock the rest of the world you need a subscription . There is no free server >.<"

yeah the starting island is f2p, but u cant use any global chats, only chat with people on the same map and whisper people, and u cant make a shop either. iirc u can explore the whole world f2p but thats it, no fighting or anything. (maybe just outside astrub u can)

its still nice though u can level pretty high on skeletons in the f2p area(30-40?), and train ur proffesion

You can actually get to around 30-40/50 respectively. There are some training spots you can go to in Astrub that can give you a HUGE load of XP.

Though, after that, you WILL need P2P.

The Zatoishwan server is having a huge problem atm. You CANNOT create a character because every single damn name is taken (and it shouldn't happen; even my own "BRAND" name is taken!)

So, I can't start over my to-be STR Iop now.
