Do any of you have any god damn idea how hard it is to lose weight? no? didn't think so.

If you're going to say such close minded and ignorant crap, take it to the lounge.
No but I know how easy it is to lose weight.

I'll give you a hint it starts with v and ends with ery.

Am I the only one who finds it odd that there's an entire empty row behind the guy which could have been used...
And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear.

You shout and no one seems to hear.

It's possible that they took that picture while boarding, so no one was there yet. Or they simply didn't want to have to tell that walrus, "hey fatass, would you mind moving to this seat back here?" It'd be awkward, and possibly discriminatory.

Is it wrong to be a dick towards fat people? Yeah kinda, but jesus, that guy is a flippin snorlax. Ought to make him ride in the cargo hold, they can get him an insulated piano crate.

    Let's put it like this.

What if you were fat as that guy?

Think about it for a bit.

it was the headline that accompanied the story in the paper, it stuck in my head.

Some of you are just using this thread to discriminate against fat ppl get over yourself your no better. You all must think it's that easy in life well go out and experience shit instead of acting like you know. But I do agree with the point that he should be made to pay for 2 seats. He has part of his body in the walk way which isn't a good thing.

    Although that is absolutely true.

If you consume more calories than you burn, you gain weight. If you don't try to control it, it will consume you. I'm not going to walk on eggshells over it.

Look at the picture; is that someone who deserves to be treated with kid gloves?

If he is ok with being that way, he needs to pay more. If he's not, he needs to do something about it.

Unless you're disabled, I have no sympathy. Even then, if you're disabled and still eating like you've been starved for a few sun cycles, you need to sort your life out. There is a difference between abusing someone due to their weight and offering them stern, truthful advice.

It's no insult to say a fat man is fat.

I don't think anybody wants to be obese, I'm gonna guess that. So, when the reach a weight that INDICATES they are becoming overweight, why do they not seek help then? Don't let it get to the point of surgery and then expect sympathy.
