Name of the anime? ><

I have been trying to find the name of this anime I'm searching for, but I failed at it so far.

I can only remember a small part though:

The story starts off in an inn where a guy is working. One day a girl comes in, unmasks him as a neko and gets him fired, as nekos are considered as a bad and unwanted race in that anime.

Together they go away, through the forest where they stumble across a girl which they save. They take the girl to the town where they get some food and shelter for saving her. Although she was a ritual sacrifice, the villagers decide to sacrifice the nekos, but they got away.

I pretty much forgot anything after this, except on the end they were on a boat sailing to a port far away.

Anybody has a clue which anime this could be?

does it have to do with a magical orb thingy that has the power to destroy the world and recreate it but they dont know how to unlock it? Also it involves like a little bear kind of doll dude who is from a guild?
