Default Why do meany f2p companies use the 'game starters'?

I hate them. Why do I have to login to their site, just to start a ****ing game?
Also, I don't like installing what isn't necessary. I don't understand the point of installing so much, to accomplish so little. >>>>

Because they like to add incompatible bugged stuff instead of fixing the actual ingame bugs itself.

    You mean those on-site launchers?

    Man, I hate that too.

I suppose its easier than making their own. Or, its an anti-piracy/hacker measure. You can't mess with the exe if there isn't one.

    Nother page of adds.

    It's a no-brainer really.

I don't think it'd be very hard to stuff ads on the launcher.

More people will complain if there are ads on the launcher. On the website they already know there will be ads.

Not the best way to say it but I hope you get what I mean.

It only anoys me as they don't have the 'remember me' option, like here for example.
But it's not the worst thing.

As if there aren't any adds on the launcher, right?

Care to explain? As I fail to see why it makes the game harder to hack.
