ok, so christmas is coming up and daddy said he will buy me what ever games i want. so i am wondering what games you guys could recommend that meet the requirements of my laptop and my game habits. i already own STALKER shadows of chernobyl and i did download clear sky (both were a *cough cough cough* pirated version of the game) chernobyl worked on the lowest settings without much lag but clear sky didnt work (god dam new rendering engine they used?)

basically my laptop is
1.9ghz
1gig ram
amd turion 64X2
good sound card of w/e it is
and windows vista...

what i want in a game is something like stalker possibley. i loved the rpg and shooter combined into one massive (sort of) adventurous tons of quests game. i would love it if the game has mods out which make it better and add more stuff etc etc. i have morrowind and expacs, oblivion and expacs, dungeon siege 2 and expacs, evil guiness and tons of mmorpgs i just cant get into playing (omg what is wrong with me!) i also enjoy the little graphics like Breath of fire 3 and 5, Suikoden 2, brigandine (ps1 games i emulate) FFTA1/2 (gba emulate) so can anyone recommend a game i would like or be close to something i would like?

btw i have torchlight and got bored of a continuous dungeon crawler over and over.

honestly, if you can find it, pick up freedom fighters.
it has a somewhat RPGesque feel to it, you gain charisma levels, which let's you recruit more soldiers to fight with you.

you earn said points by completing side objectives, such as blowing up a helipad or power station. no mods for the game sadly, but it's a fun romp.

freedom fighters is a good game , and also play it's sequel when finish the first one too

for some ps1 classsics, you can try chrono cross although it's 3d, you can recruit lots of characters and it has different endings, for something that is similar to brigandine, you can try super robot wars, there's an english patch for one of it
