I don't hate... aslong as a person plays it right and dosnt overdo things, it's ok game.

Runescape is really a great game, my account is in negative balance and has been since like 06. The community on the game really though is just horrible. Now a days I don't think I could play it because it seems everything is handed to you on the game. Yet Runescape back durring the classic days to about 06, the game was great.

edit: people who talk about graphics being too ugly, you really are part of this new generation of gamers who only care for graphics. I hate the new generation of gamers.

I couldn't hate Runescape if I tried, however, I still can't get into it like I used to simply because It'll never match upto that feeling of when it was my first MMO. (Back in the days of Classic)

I dislike Runescape because of its communty, regardless of if i'm playing on a german or english server, they're always flaming you because you're doing 1 less dmg then them, I mean wtf? Gameplay wise I love all the professions runescape has to offer, but its annoying when you level up some of your professions, you are able to create something new and then its for members only. I also don´t understand what people dislike about runescapes graphic, they look awesome on low and high details for a JAVA!!! game. I like them, yeah, really, flame me for liking it, I dont care.

I hated Runescape of many reasons, here's three of them.

1: I hated the movement, and the camera angle.
2: The community with 10 y/o shouting NoOooOOb!!!11oneone etc etc
3: The combat!

Also another thing that just annoyed me was the name of the characters. IAMGOD167283, ZzXxTHEKINGxXzZ, 1337boyomgz etc.

I swear to god if a new game came out, the same as RS, and RS was never out before.

Everyone would hate on it, all day.

But its a classic, so it has some love.

I like Runescape because:

1. The graphics are fine, they are not "terrible".
2. There will always be someone online to play with.
3. There are a number of skills that I can train and make money off of.
4. The Grand Exchange offers a quick and effective way of selling off various items.
5. Quests, there are way too many of them!

Granted it does get boring sometimes, that is when I get off and go do something else.

Dont hate it, but it is boring from a aspect of training skills. I usually get bored over time from rpgs, because lvling seems to be too boring. To make mmorpg good u must have a community and some distinctive part of the mmo. A good mmo is Helbreath since 1999 and still is kicking field due its pvp and community. but grapich is getting old. Just cant wait when they release a game like helbreath in 3D.
