to your question: there is no game that is like monster rancher (not in english). In asia there is a monster rancher online and some more games that are smiliar to this genre.
i remember that monster and me is a litte bit like that but the game is dead so dont try it or you try every game with pets. Eudemon for example or grand fantasia (sprites) or hm..you play summoner class in a normal mmorpg and you can still think that you are a trainer or something like that xD

Yeah I know we've got dif. timezones but generally speaking its 3am-6am across NA, and the vaster majority of us are from the United States/Canada/Mexico
and request is usually like an effing day to get "sorry bro"...basically lol.
