    Default seriously offended

i was in a mall today looking to purchase a tuxedo. entered a store, and asked them for help. wat he responded totally blew my mind: "i don't think these r for u, i think H&M is more suitable for u, and i think its ur best bet".

im not sure whether he looks down or asian or he just looks down on students.

You can find decent stuff in H&M usually, who cares if it's cheap? They don't sell tuxedos, though. What an asshole. You should've asked to see his manager.

how were you dressed, how were you talking, and how did you act?

did you act like a 5 year old brat running around a candy store? or did you act like a mature being?

Basically it's a reasonably priced clothing store that tries to sell fashionable clothing items without forcing you to buy designer brands.

Not everything in there is good but the stuff that is is a great deal, and it beats Wal-Mart for underage b& with no money.

V-Opolis actually brings up a good point, though; were you acting like a ****** OP?

    You're overreacting.

Stores like those usually suggest more urban spots for younger customers. 'Cause if you're under 25, they would assume you'd want to look a little more in style, as opposed to outragously classy (Chuck Bass-type ensemble).

I'd take that advice and go to H&M.

majority of the kids is see getting kicked out of up scale stores is cuz they go in with pants at their knees, hat at a 45degree angle, and being loud enough to talk for 10 people. It really does bother other costumers when people are in there being loud and goofing off instead of legitimately looking.

When i went to go buy a suit for formal. The person working at the store was quite helpful. I guess it depends on the person working there because i'm also an asian.

Or you can forget about it. I seriously doubt he meant it in an offensive way.

Exactly! Why would the guy wanna lose a customer? Money is money! And really the only color that matters is green.

He probably just said that to you because he figured you were young and wanted something more for young people/less expensive.

I doubt he was trying to be racist or something. People who work in retail know better than that...

You should inform him to go tell his boss to resign cause his not a good clerk in their store! Or maybe he thinks u dont have $ to buy a tuxedo at their store. So many crazy people on earth.
