FFXIV Beta Applications!

Bleh, i gotta find my FFXI ID so i can tie it to my square Enix ID. Unless it already is? anyone know?

If you're having problems signing up/in, probably congested?. I couldn't even apply for the beta, though i could make a account and login fine...

I applied for beta is this like a demo? Or do they send out download link when you get selected.

the beta is a full version of the game, not a demo..and hell yeah FF beta time!

Perhaps I should have signed up as a German player for a better chance to get in.

- Tester selection will be based solely upon the content of applications. Selected individuals will be contacted via e-mail.
* Priority will not be given to applications based on order of submission.

I think it will, it says it won't on order of submission, but it will on the content. So if you have a FFXI acc you do might have a higher chance to get in.

PlayOnline. Yes, they're dropping that. (For FFXIV at least)

I would be surprised if they charged extra for multiple characters, but who knows. It looks like in this game there will still be an emphasis on being able to do everything on a single character rather than needing to make alts, so it could be a possibility that they still charge for extra slots. (Just guessing)

Either way IDC, they should know by now to overload us with inventory space so that we never need mules. FFXI users have *****ed about it enough.

Every time i try to register for the EU version it says my region is different , it only let me register for the US version , oh well i hope that i can play on the EU version =.="

You cant apply for the eu beta with a na square enix account.

You need to make a eu account here.

I put 80 but thought that was a pretty interesting question. If I put 1, I wonder how they'd react?

That question is just to see if you would hype the game or not. They probably don't want you to hype it that much due to it leading to unbelievable expectations.
