    Default Yet anotherone!

Yet again, another one, well it isn't completetly finished, there's gotta be some things to change, and I wish for some feedback on it from onrpg..

Thanks for the C&C all the time onrpg.

Previous C&C was more feeling, and create the track to the vocals.
    this is what I got.

Please listen to the whole track, and not just the first 50 seconds.

    Well onrpg.

Did this improve since my last track?
    yes/no, why?

If improved: what did I improve it, what's better?
If not: what's worse than my previous tracks? what to improve!

Thanks again guys! I really appriciate your help!

Not all kinds of music are energetic, some people like calm music.

What did you use to make this?

Its pretty beautiful dude.I like the ambiance and the fact that its somewhat abstract.

It reminded me of being in dream world type realm in a game, which coming from me,is a compliment.

Yea but this is too calm, add more sound to it or something, like the occasional drum hits or bongo drums hit lightly.

I should update this but all my effort went into writing this lousy excuse.

    Feels a little disjointed.

One of the sounds has a very sharp cutoff which doesn't help, and doesn't sound very pleasing. Also seems to be a complete lack of overall rhythm, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but is if you include rhythmic elements within.

Also there is no attempt to make any kind of tonal harmony between anything.

You don't have to include crazy things like rhythm or melody or harmony in your music, but if they are absent then you'd best be sure you've got something good in their place, otherwise it will just sound a bit like you've made 5 random tracks of sounds and laid them over each other, added a load of reverb, and called it a song.

Artistic value is pretty subjective, can't really tell what you're trying to do. You need a message to bring across and you need to be able to show it in your music.

The brass that comes in occasionally is nice, but the piano is just annoying.

The layers constantly weave in between each other and there's no significance and the song leads you nowhere at all.

This just sounds like what BGLamb described, 5 random tracks laid over each other. It's just a plateau of chaos.

    Lol @ Raiyne!

    Well, so in short..

    Things to improve on:
    ~More feeling, harmony
    ~Must blend in together more

    Also
The layers constantly weave in between each other and there's no significance and the song leads you nowhere at all.
    What..?

So any feedback on what is good?
and any tips on really what to do?

    And thanks viet :]

If you're gonna add some harmony then you're gonna need some basic music theory. At the least, pick a few chords for the main piano part, like you did, and try and work around those. Pick notes from those chords for the other instruments, etc.

You can have some disharmony with the vocals which could sound nice, but the rest of it should be in the same key really. (Basically, unless you're very good this is your only option, as the vocals are not gonna be easy to get in tune with the music at this stage of the production.)

As for blending, you've added so much echo that it pretty much all blurs into a big mess already. To get rid of the jagged edge of that sound effect though you'll need to just fade it out. (either turn down the end, or extend it with a fade. Don't just add more reverb)

To be honest though, once you've got a piece of music with no harmony and no rhythm, the best way to add it would be to start from scratch. If you've built this in a program which imposes a rhythm then you might be able to add it by just accentuating what is already (hidden) there.

Great C&C, thanks a lot. Will keep it in mind.
