    Default Help soldering...

    I recently got a Wiikey, and I want to get it soldered in there...but I sure as hell can't do it.

    I don't even know what to look up in the yellow pages. Where would I have to bring my Wii to get the chip installed?

    Has anyone done this locally? How much would getting a chip soldered in cost?

    I dunno.

    Maybe try a computer shop?

    I'm sure it would be pretty cheap soldering is quick and easy.

    A computer shop eh? Sounds reasonable...I just have to find one.

    Do they typically do stuff like this?

    depends what kind of computer shop you go to.. somewhere like bestbuy wouldnt.. if you find a smaller shop they probably will though
