Depends on who you are selling it to. You could easily rip someone off who knows nothing about computers.

But if I were going to buy I would probably spend around 500-550 USD, but that is because I know I can get something a bit better for around 650 USD.

You could probably raise the price to people who don't know much about computers or do not know places to get them cheap.

Well, I wouldn't ever pay more than ~350 USD for it.

It's used after all.

However, the price depends on the demand. If you find someone to sell it personally, bargain as well as you can.

About auctioning it; I can't really say, I don't do that as often, but 500 or more seems high to me.

Well it depends on the condition.

But a lot of people who buy laptops go to those retail stores like bestbuy and spend 600 on a laptop with an onboard graphics card and low end dual core cpu.
