    Default Gravity Cares

    Greetings adventurers,

The past year or so has seen hard economic times for many people who may have played Ragnarok. We have discussed here what we could do to let those that lost the ability to subscribe their accounts to continue playing with their friends while getting back on their feet.

So in the spirit of helping we want to present the "Gravity Cares program". If you have lost your job between June 1, 2009 and now, we can give you a free 3 month subscription if the account was Premium server accessible as of June 1, 2009.

We will have this program for now until it is no longer necessary. We reserve the right to cancel this offer with a 3 day advanced notice. You will need to have your prior employer and yourself to fill out the Gravity Cares form, and then Mail it to us (real mail not email). We will verify then provide the 3 month subscription so you can stay connected to your friends on the Premium servers!

    Have a great Holiday season!
From all of us here at Gravity Interactive, Inc.
Sounds pretty good, although it's probably a way to get unemployed users to keep playing the game and finally pay for the game when they get a job, it is a pretty good idea, because this recession has hit people hard.

What do you guys think? Generous thought? Just another business scheme?

Both, extremely generous. Yet, its a company, and companies always want money.

So, without a doubt its a scheme, but its a generous idea, and something that actually seems moral. ;/

"Hi, you might not remember me, my name's John. Uhh, I don't work for you guys anymore but do you mind filling out this form for an online game that I play so I can get three months free?"

I think he means IMO, that Koreans are more into Online gaming than the US, so Korean employers might not look at them with a certain level of wtf, you want me to sign this so you can get 3 months free game time, where in the US I bet the employer would just laugh.

does Gravity check if you obtained another job after being laid off between June and now? Cause from that announcement, it seems like as long as you lost a job between that time period, you are legible for 3 months of free subscription.

get another job (if its better~ kudos), print out this form for your ex-employer, and bring it to him along with a business card or contact info of some sort proving that you are working in your new job. That shouldn't be too much of an embarrassment imo~

You need to have your prior employer fill it out also. If I was the boss I would be like gtfo with that shit. I don't see any boss wasting there time filling it out unless they are good friends or a fellow gamer.

Everyone suddenly claims they were self employed and fired themselves.

If Gravity ask why I was fired I'd put down because I caught myself playing RO at work.

rofl true that. bosses wouldnt waste their time concerning about this stuff. i suppose this is the hardest part. although it is quite thoughtful of gravity.
