Default Whats eating my interwebs D:?

So i was downloading a game, which was 6GB, the first 5GB's went really well at 9mb/sec, but then it went down to 132kb/sec i closed everything that would possible make use of any connection besides the download, but it didn't work, so is there anyway of seeing how ''internet''(LOL) a program is using :P?

... it depends if the game was being downloaded p2p (pier to pier) or how its called ... if so then maybe you lost connections with other people and thus your download speed went down... other than that maybe some updates ??? are being done

Thanks, i'm actually looking for a managing thing that give you information on what processes use the connection.

What i actually want is a program that is able to show me what process is using my bandwidth
    For example this.
    FireFox - 233kb
    Opera - 87kb

9MB/s? WTF. I thought my 600KB/s was good. I remember it used to be 12KB/s when i lived in a redneck town.

The Netherlands have superior internetspeeds at a relative low price tag...

edit: forgot to put an useful reply, but check if you indeed still are running at 9mbps in your router options (or speedtest if you can't access your router), gamershell may be overloaded or someone hijacked your internet if you have wifi.

Exactly, still going on a poor 40kb/sec ..

    It should be 9mb FFS...

EDIT: It took me whole 12 seconds to go here to edit my post.

Speedtest shows that i currently have like 50kbs (WTF).

No wane hijacked my internet D:

    Gamershell is not overloaded D:.

Now its 0.2kb/seconds, i need to wait 8months for the download to finish, i think i'm gonna die.

Check my edit if you haven't seen it already. (and compared to Belgium, you pay nothing for gold, we pay gold for nothing)

Also, when i watch the download it varies from 1kb/sec to 150kb/sec, it takes really long for it to change like if its on 140kb it takes 10 secs for it to change to 150kb/sec.

I plugged out the microwave still 40kb/sec.

After 2 seconds it went up to 200kb/sec..

And Bonneau if you find 9mb/sec much, my friend has a connection that gives him around 52mb/sec if i remember good.

EDIT: its not because of any overload of the download hoster or anything with p2p because my whole internet is being weird.

12seconds to load up this thread.

Like I said, check if you are indeed have a 72mbit connection (downloadspeed *8 = connection how the ISP says it). Your router configuration site (192.168.x.x) would be the most reliable source of information for this.

Speedtest would work too, if you hit 72mbit here than there is an application leeching your intarwebs. I seriously doubt a single application is capable of this for a while without your knowledge.

If you have 1mbit (on either speedtest or router), your connection has been changed and you would need to contact your ISP for more information.

Do you ever make an post that actually does involve anything about the OP?

Why did you even post here if you can't say anything helpful?

Just to get your silly little +1? Sad.

The OP is a prick when people post things not related to the question, just like yours.

And De-Repping is not gonna make you cool in any kind of way ^^.
