Look at the bright side, at least you didn't have to play Darkfail.
Edit: ^Might have been a bit harsh, but I feel bad for you though, it's really messed up when they do stuff like this.

Oh no I'm with you on that.
If you're going to develop a game for more then 3 years the least you could do is make it look pretty, Evidently Aventurine was more focused on ruining their game further.
Another thing is the unprofessional behavior shown by Talos. Hey I have an idea! Whenever anyone makes a bad review about our game lets make an 800 paragraph post on how much they suck!
Least the game hopefully gets working. The service sucks bad since your paying for it.
Reputation: 20I've still yet to get it to work, No surprise there.
I also very much enjoy the amount of stupidity within the support department, I've stated my problem very clearly "My account is not active though I've payed for the game and purchased a subscription" It's been 10+ hours it is absolutely absurd that my problem isn't solved.
I honestly hope I can get a refund because if this is how the future service will be I do not want a part in it what-so-ever.
Reputation: 162I was thinking off trying Darkfall, but after I saw that there was no trial it put me off. I'm not willing to part with my money for a game that doesn't look great anyway.
I'm a little confused as to where OP is coming from...
So you buy the game, obviously expecting to find enjoyment from it. You experience bad support from the company (which is pretty common knowledge). Then, after not being to play for a while, you get mad and start talking about how much the game sucks without even having played it?
Why did you buy it then if you felt this way?If you're going to develop a game for more then 3 years the least you could do is make it look pretty, Evidently Aventurine was more focused on ruining their game further.
I just don't understand your thought process. But you and noone else deserve to be treated like this, especially by people who are taking your money. You'd think that with a game/company with such a bad rep as Darkfall/Adventurine that they would at least try to provide better support to their customers.
Reputation: 10Pro tip~ quit raging, use your common sense and figure out where you ****ed up. Like browser crashing? use a different one? not being able to navigate through their site sound like a user error to me. Trouble shoot~ Should of reset your password and checked your client in the first place. So you could of stated that in the first email and of gotten a better response.
Normally I'd ***** you out here but I'm going to level with you.
1. I tried Safari, Chrome, Explorer and Firefox. All resulted in the same error.
2. I did reset my password.
3. I did check my client
4. I was trying to make a point that rather then admitting there is a bigger problem they had to beat around the bush and waste my time.
5. I'll rage if I goddamn want to, I paid for a product and I can't use said product I'm going to be angry. Especially when I'm greeted with stupidity within the support department.
Reputation: 10I never got to play either, I ended up just calling up my credit card company.
So... tell me how it was I guess if you decide to wait that long. xD
Reputation: 27If they had half a brain they would use Steam to sell/distribute their game; seriously even people who have the game have suggested it and it's a good idea because from what I'm told from friends who play it is the game is dying.
Less issues trying to buy the game, better support and the big bonus more exposure and it could possibly salvage the game.
*edit* and I doubt it's Valve that's not willing to do it since they distribute a large variety of genres and games; it has to be Aventurine that's unwilling.

Reputation: 10Full of hackers? Or is it a game you're not use to because you've been playing free mmorpg click and snoozes for the last decade?
wouldn't know anything about the support, never had a problem.
I was playing just last month... didn't look like it was dying to me.
lol@ the disinformation that's spread by people who suck balls at the game, raged, and are now disgruntled.
Reputation: 27Butt hurt much? Lurk for 5 years just to make an account and post because you disagree with my opinion.
They did a lot of advertisement for the game at shows which televised on G4 not to mention all the media attention they got elsewhere. But clearly I'm talking about forum hype so please get your fact straight before you claim I said something in which I didn't.
Please do yourself a favor and stop with the assumptions about people who complain just because they don't like something does not mean they are raging nerds or suck at the game; maybe they have honest opinions and suggestions to better the game but they are constantly harassed by people like you and others on the forums, like that's doing any good; I swear I'd have a hard time finding one single topic criticizing the game that doesn't have some kid calling the OP a carebear.
I've played the game myself and I have friends who are still playing it and I still keep tabs on it and what I see and what my friends see is a game dwindling much like Shadowbane did. Heck Shadowbane was a far better game and look were it's at today.
I think Darkfall could survive but only if Aventurine gets off their asses and markets their own damn game for once and like I said a deal with Valve would only seem to benefit them because it would guarantee new players who haven't even heard of the game or merely forgot it exist. Also they would handle the support, patching and also sale of the game which would take a big burden off Aventurine so maybe they'll have more time and money to put into their game.
