You don't see what Jack is doing all the time. So obviously he's peeing then. Why don't they show it? Because that's when we are watching more interesting stuff.

Staying up for 24 hours straight is not that hard, especially when you're trying to save the world and being shot at and beaten up constantly.

Yes, the show is ridiculous with a whole day of pure action, but thats how the show goes and it goes pretty well with the viewers. I used to watch 24 but i started late (started to get into the series when it was in season 5) so i had to go through 24 season marathons to season 5. By the time i got there, i was tired of watching it. If only seasons did not have to last 24 episodes
