    You have a terrible preconception lol… tons of homosexuals actually wish they weren't. It's not a choice you know. I'm not saying I wish I wasn't though, because I enjoy my sexuality just fine… it's everyone else around me that make it hard for me to deal with. You may think that "gays think that they are "special" because they bat for the other team" because they have pride.. and they show it sometimes a little too much.

    Anyway, what you really mean is the fashionable status of bisexuality. Everyone's bisexual these days (just kidding x-x).

    I think what he means is that it's quite shit for someone who has been gay for a while, and carried the stigma that comes with it, to have to see the certain perceptions of it.

    To be fair, whilst homosexual persecution is still alive and well, I doubt any of the people here are old enough to have grown up as a homosexual in a time where you couldn't "come out" for fear of getting physically hurt.

    It's just a way more sexually open world, which is good. Many more people who wouldn't have dared admit they were gay, bi or whatever before can do so with way less worry now.

    So, I'm not so much agreeing with him, but I suppose many gay people see the current status of sexual freedom as people having it easy. It's like an older sibling who gets all the restrictions and then sees his or her younger sibling grow up and do the exact same things with half the limitation, which I can understand is quite lame.

    That, or he's just yanking your chain. Whatever works.
