So, my moms birthday is the 17th. I fixed up an older laptop for her, because she isn't allowed to touch any of my computers (long story short, she breaks them.)
I managed to set up XP in a "hardto****up" way. The computer isn't so hot, but she doesn't do anything except check her email and play mahjong.
Anyway...for a non-computer savvy mom...what would you guys include? I got her some mahjong games, I book marked her email, local movie times, google search, addictinggames.com...
So, suggest some stuff. IDK what she likes, shes a mom. She likes annoying me best of all.
Suggest anything. Book marks, neat mom-style programs, etc.

I kinda wanted to photo-shop her a "happy birthday mom" cake for a background...but I suck at it.
My mom loves watching videos, perhaps you could teach her how to use YouTube? Like, how to search for videos and subscribe to them. Tell her how she can search for her favorite artists, songs, etc.
I mean, my mom didn't really know how to use YouTube, so I had to teach her. Not sure about your mom.
