    Kinda makes you wish he'd written more than just.. I think 3 books. Catcher in the Rye sucked, but I still think he was a good writer. Well, I guess he died doing what he loved.. lurking. Er.. I think what I mean to say, as a man who lived a long, lonely life on top of a mountain, alienating everyone around him, as internet users, we can all appreciate J.D. Salinger.

    You suck, catcher in the rye did not suck, its considered an american classic. He written so many novels throughout his life and didn't publish them. I hope they will see the light of day.

    yeah,Catcher In The Rye was a great book. It really helped me enjoy grade 11 english class. When the rest of the class didn't want to read the book, I still did.
