I played the beta and thought it was terrible. But now that I've tried the trial is defiantly a lot better. I can see myself playing, but only with some friends. But since my RL friends are afraid of PC games, especially MMOs, I thought I'd ask here.
What I had in mind was having a group/team that could all harvest, mine etc (gather materials) and then pool them together and take what we need to craft stuff and share the results. Like one person could make clothes for everyone, one person could make ammo, another could make food, and maybe even have someone make vehicles. And of course we'd do missions together.
It'd probably be impossible to form a team like this to play with all the time, but I figured I'd make this post anyway. I'd be willing to start over ( i didnt get very far anyway). And I'd buy the full the game if it all works out.
I was really tempted to buy this game during my free trial, but towards the end I kinda got the feeling that ive experienced everything this game has to offer...
The abilites in the game just seem cheap and weak. I wanted to make a pure caster, but after reading some forums its not even possible. The PvE and PvP are very bland and boring. The game has good graphics but the animations and character models are really ugly. Combat looks really bad. It kinda feels like playing the original everquest with all of the graphics realllly smoothed over.
I would be more into giving darkfall a try. I have been looking at that game for a really long time, but I cant bring myself to buy it.
