I need some help on finding some effective suicide methods for my speech.

I know that you have to cut both carotid arteries in order to die a quick painless death within seconds from slitting your throat, but do you also have to cut the jugular with it, or can it just be the carotid alone?

Also I heard that you have to cut deep enough to get those cut... Well how exactly deep is deep? Do you have to apply a lot of force to your neck? Or can it just be a quick gash with minimal force?
