I have a few DVDs and Xbox games that I haven't used or played with for years that have developed some strange white spots on the top layer of the info side of the disc. They are small tiny spots that cover the plastic area and no matter how I clean them they never come off. >< The discs have been in the cases in a drawer...for like 2 years.

I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this and if anyone knows exactly what it could be.

I dont think it's disc rot cause the discs still work.

I'm just going crazy over it cause it's happening to some of my favorite media!
