I am here to help promote this game a friend of mine is making. I think it has great potential and I would appreciate it if you would check it out and participate on the forums.
Here is the storyline: Dawn 8 takes place just 30 years after a Nuclear World War was placed, and the world came to a near end. Countries destroyed, the few remaining 3 billion citizens had to find a new way of life. A way of life that would change the lives of many.. Forever. Humans knew that they had nothing left, and before the war time, many new things were being invented.
Humans, their natural instinct is to stay alive, and with resources running out around the world, a challenge is posed. 30 years though, gave humans time to rebuild themselves and finally get a working society going, but some thought this was all fraud. All the super-powers coming into office, died within 10 months. Some unknown group was determined to bring themselves up into power and declare humans a dead race, but they never could get this.
Now, the dawn of a new era after the nuclear war and after the reform times, 8 factions were created in the hands of dictators, leaders and just a group of people who were willing to fight for the hell of it. Its a dawn of a new era for the human race, its the dawn of 8 factions that will strive for power, wealth, and social status, and will stop at nothing to obtain all three. Even if it means killing everybody except themselves.
Its one super-city that these 8 factions happened to be in. Yukon, the largest living human settlement, once peaceful and rebuilding from the times of hardship, has become the battleground for the largest fight that the human race has yet to ever see. With time running out, these 8 factions must try their very best to forge the biggest group, the most powerful men around, and not get killed trying to do so.
The largest war the human race will ever see in its life starts now. And remember, just because There's humans fighting here doesn't mean there isn't that scary race you dads talked about you entire life.
It’s the dawn of a new time. You are the players running it. Shape your look, pick for faction, and shape the human ways. Own buildings, rent them out or sell them at a higher price. Produce weaponry, ammunition, armor or anything else you can thing of, and become the super power faction. Just be careful, There's another few thousand people who will do the same.
To give you a better idea of the game it will be a 3D first person shooter game.
