Help on genetics

I have a exam on Monday for my genetics class and I still don't understand a thing about it, I'm very confused.

Can you guys help me check over what I've done on my study guide for Meiosis and can you also help me fill out my Mitosis because I don't understand it.

Metaphase you'd have the two X's line up vertically.
Anaphase you'd have 2 swords on either side.
And you have 2 copies of the swords in the little cells in telephase.

Of course this is pretty basic because it'd be different depending on when during each phase you're talking about.

i dont understand how its labeled and being done so i cant really help you man..sorry. never did my meiosis like that. Rather strange way of doin it. Can you give a description of what those swords and Bs are suppose to be? Chromosomes?

The swords are cromosomes, the small mini slash through the chromosomes are genes. The big B's mean they are identical, if there were a big B and a small b, then they are different. Or if there was an A and a B, then they would be different. It's when you don't have crayons or markers to color them differently, you label them as different letters to show they are different.

Also the process of G1 phase -> S phase -> G2 phase are the process of interphase right?

You got to use the scientific terms. When the two chromosomes touch each other and exchange one piece its called crossing over.
