nah the interception was not entirely peyton's fault, it was actually more of reggie wayne's. he ran a horrible route and lined up too far out which gave away what route he was running, and the cornerback played the play perfectly.

the NFL has a small, but rabid following in Europe. I was sad to see them abandon NFL Europe, but it just once again reaffirms that nobody outside North America gives a hoot about football

The popularity of various sports in different countries is pretty puzzling to me. I haven't the foggiest idea why soccer isn't popular in the US (hell, there are tons of youth soccer leagues and relatively few peewee football ones). I also have no idea why the Asian countries love baseball so much. Maybe it has something to do with the types of sports that are able to firmly take root in a country's culture.
