Money back?

Guys, I was extremely idiotic today, two friends of mine had gotten me into buying a DSi today while i actually couldn't afford it. If my parents find out I did this they will seriously kill me. I really need to return it to retrieve my money...Or else i am ****ed. I need the 155 this month. Do you think the store will give me my money back? The store was freerecordshop..I was so stupid today..=/

Any advice?

As long as you have your receipt, and it hasn't been more than like two weeks since you bought it and you still have the box and everything you're probably good to go.

Unless they're weird and have a No Returns policy.

It's midnight, I am worried enough to post on onrpg, lol. I'll be going back there after school tomorrow, well oficially today since its past midnight .

I always read this forum everyday for years now and I know each and everyone of you lol, I never actually posted though, I really appreciate the replies because that is really comforting. I have the receit and I only bought it less than 24 hours ago and still have the box and all the stuff that was inside, i really hope they give it back, I'm in my exams and if my crazy parents found this out I would be screwed ><

But yeah like earlier stated by the fabulous and sexy Xenonight2....Just take it back with the receipt and plead with customer service to accept the product for a full return.

Also you need to expect some restocking fees and perhaps if the DSi is open they might not even take it back at all. But eh if the DSi is opened just claim there was a defect and then ask for cash back....tell them you want to take your business elsewhere.

I mean the product has been taken out of the box and has been used or tampered with.

Some smaller stores wont take back opened electronics.

Also if they do have a return policy they might have it on the receipt! So take some time to look that over closely. Hmm and they might even have some information online so try a google search.

But eh they might not take the DSi back so just incase you better start working on your apology speech to your parents.

Well, they should give you the money back. If you have all the bits and pieces it should be fine. If not, tell your friend to help you get the money back.

Not to mention they overprice everything they sell and throw away posters you can sell on ebay for 80eurs/piece.

I doubt they'll take it back. Your best bet is to sell it on ebay or similar sites.
If you don't get 155 back that way you'll need to cough it up yourself though.

hell free record shop even attempted to sell bloodrayne 1 on pc for 60 euro's and the game was out for 5 years or even more, and was hardly worth 10 euro's....

reread what he said, he can survive with 50 euro's if he is very carefull .

Sorry about that. I thought that the money had greater value to him than was actually stated. Maybe that's why he wasted it on a luxury item.
