video makes a valid point but for the wrong reasons.
anything you do that excludes other people and isolates yourself so that you become a recluse is bad.
it doesnt matter if it is gaming, drinking, drugs, writing gay poetry, reading, watching tv or anything. the problem isnt the medium you use, its the fact that you are a compulsive or reclusive person with personality issues.
its just coincidence that at this point in time gaming and internet use is the popular medium everyone is involved with. its easy to bash gaming and say you are wasting your life but the problem is far deeper.
the message shouldnt be "dont game so much, its a waste of your life". the message should read "be sensible and dont let one thing rule your entire life to the detriment of all else".
but anyone watching this video who hardly plays any games at all and spends their internet time posting pictures of themselves in front of mirrors flexing muscles or pouting or talking endlessly about life achievements will say "F*CK YEAH TRUE MAN!" because you people are idiots and want some kind of validation that you are better than the people here... but then, why are you even here?
like anything in life moderation is the key. too much of anything is always bad.

And yeah I agree! This sounds like Christians had a hand in this.
But eh people will do what they will do now and either look back with joy or regret. And how dare he call video-games stupid!? Does he not remember that people work hard to develop games and a lot of jobs are intertwined into the gaming monster, both production and sell.
