    You pay $50/month to text unlimited?

    It happens with Sprint too, and I imagine it happens with any other phone network as well. It could be for any number of reasons. Most likely it's because the network in your area is experiencing technical problems.

    Unlimited everything, talk, text, walkie, and web. Next cheapest for the same would probably be T-Mobile with $80 a month. So Boost is pretty cheap.
