Well so far It's been like this:

Many mages and somewhat less psionist.

Many Paladins and Warriors but less Wardens and clerics.

I have played a psionist, a mage and a paladin and I do NOT like the melee system at all. It's very hard to target a monster and keep attacking (doing decent dps) since there is no auto attack feature.

I don't know why they took away the auto attack feature on this game, it does not make it anything less like a typical point-to-attack.

If I was you, I would go for either a Warden, Cleric, or Paladin.

Those are the three classes that seem most interesting to me. Gotta catch up to my warrior brother. Do they have good synergy with warriors?

If you're on the NA ver. feel free to add me: I'm on Tenses server Imperial side.

I'd say go Paladin or Warden. I THINK Paladins can heal a little.

What's your IGN? Me and a buddy will be logging in to play in about an hour. He is a Summoner and I am either playing my Mage or Psionist.

Were only around level 6 though. Playing casually for now. xD

I definitely do not see many wardens. Mages and Summoners seem to be the most popular on my server/faction. Surprisingly alot of healers. Arisen are the undead of this game, all of their classes are popular just because of the race.

I play on the other server too because I wanted to be on the lower pop of the 2. Too many people questing is fail.

I am an orc Paladin (reaver) but I would reroll if I could ever stand to do everything ive done again, WAY too many stats that I have to keep high enough, its like alot of gear juggling and with the limited inventory space its a pain. I am almost level 13, and just got my reps to Respected before Fatigue resets.

Wardens have a 10 minute renew type buff for a heal, and a really stupid looking pet on the empire side (which i suspect is the cause of the low pop). On the good side its like a bear, but on the bad side its like some fugly goblin thing....

paladin needs alot of stats to be high to even function. You have to keep Luck Strength Finesse and Expertise really high so that you dont miss mobs, or hit them for very low amounts. its frustrating because if I get a new item, I cant even use it sometimes because the stat spread will make one of those stats too low, which really hurts my performance.

Paladin talents look like they make them tanks, but until level 12 u cant even get any tanking abilities. Even after tanking is really challenging.

I just got an AoE attack, and that has made things a ton easier.

And people get mad at you if you take out a 2 hander in a group. Paladins are going to be the class that gets forced into tanking roles in groups. I dont mind tanking at all, but its annoying to be forced into one specific role. People are ok with warriors dpsing. It seems like stereotypes from WoW carried over for alot of people.

    Can Wardens heal?

I also hear that healers are like the true pallies. Good in melee and heavy armor and such. Seems itneresting.
