    And Mooooogles!

The first 5 FF games aren't truely that great. FF VI + is when they really start to get good, atleast in my opinion.

Game wise, my top four are VIII, X, VII, and IX.

I never played XII, though I own it... oddly enough. But ya, the only things similar in the games are a few names. Cid is usually in every game, atleast at some point or another. Same with the name Highwind, Chocobos, Biggs and Wedge.

    Yar!

You know, Nick, Sandman is pretty much a bastardized retelling of Star Wars.

Final Fantasy 6 is the best if you don't want to play them all

Play 7 and 8 and then close the book.

10 is essentially a chick flick in C.G.I., really.

How did you feel about 9?

I found it enjoyable (if only for Vivi). It's been years though, and I haven't really had a desire to give it a second play through.

    I didn't like it.

Well, I can't remember it. That usually means I dislike it.

I most likely remember it fondly because It was the first FF, of the three on the PS1, that I finished. Afterward I promptly tore into 7 and 8.

Really? I enjoyed Final Fantasy 9.

Quite a bit too. Zidane and Garnet was a bit bleh. But Steiner, Amarant, and Vivi were highly enjoyable. Quina was a mindfuck in itself..

The story was cliched..but then again, what RPG isn't a cliche now, and it wasn't that bad of a cliche either. Especially when it got deeper into the story. If anything 7 wasn't that great either. 8 was average. 6 was most likely the better of the series.

Of course, I'm a slightly obvious FF fanboy, and I'll buy just about any major Final Fantasy game...

Edit: To be honest, when I read the thread I read it as "Qanda" like ....name? ;/

No. I think Final Fantasy 7 and 8 were the only two even released on the computer.

So, you're out of luck...legally that is of course.

Indeed, ebay is a good place to look for the rarer ones.
