    Default Buying a new monitor

    Hey!

So I was planning on buying a new monitor that is a bigger size and try out 1080p. I needed some suggestions for monitors that are at least 1080P and are under 190 CAD.

I would like it if the monitor is available at www.ncix.com as they price match and only take GST.

So far I have three possibilities that seem nice to me:

    http://ncix.com/products/index.php?s...2&promoid=1139

    http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...0&promoid=1139

    http://forums.ncix.com/forums/index....d=0#msg2142819

All of these offer at least Y x 1080 and seem to have an appealing design. The BenQ also offers built in speakers and HDMI.

Finally, I was wondering if VGA and HDMI would result in a big difference.

    Thanks!

HDMI is for the best HD picture, VGA is pretty old. Most video cards for gaming don't even support it anymore(native).

Ah. Well, I ended up just buying the Samsung one before you posted. :S

It has a dead pixel so going to change it tomorrow. My dad likes Samsung so we'll probably stick with this one. Thanks for the information! Even if it did have an HDMI port they don't normally include it so I don't know if I'd be able to get it for a while.

Thank you for the response. By the way, wide screen 23" is amazing.
