    Default Workout

I wanna start working out, but i don't have any special equipment available to me other then a chin up bar and some 5 pound weights.
I need a schedule or something i can follow. Keep in mind that this is pretty much my first time working out.
so, input your advice here. Thanks in advance.
Edit: oh right, i dont want to become super ripped or anything, just wanna lose some weight, and gain some more muscle, and get rid of these love handles...

dont think youll be able to do much with 5 lb weights unless your rather skinny.

whats your conditioning right now? ie. how many pushups do you do, cardio level, etc

Haha yeah so you should get the abs easy. I say work on getting toned first. Switch up between wide, normal and narrow push-ups, pull-ups, basically all the non-weight workouts you can do.

Work out 3 days a week, it's enough.

1st day - Exercise you arm muscles (bicep, tricep etc)
Since you have 5 pound weights you can do simple curl exercises.

2nd day - Shoulders, your chin up bar is perfect for shoulder exercises.

3th day - Legs, squat exercises, running, etc. Run at least 8 min.

If you ate something then wait at least 1 hour before starting working out and avoid drinking/eating milk products...it can make you feel sick during the exercise.

It's really important to warm up before starting, you can run for about 8 min and after that stretch you arms, legs, etc.
And since this is your first time don't push yourself too hard, 2 series of each exercise (for example: 10 pull-ups, take a break, 10 pull-ups again).
When you are done, take a shower and eat something

    (sorry for my english)

honestly just work on pushups for now. do 5-7 sets of 15(or how ever far you can get.) every other day. When you get up around 50-60, add pullups into your regime. on 15 pushups i doubt you can do a pullup, amiright?

jsut do regular pushups. after 5-6 weeks, you can add close grip and wide grip pushups. You need to get in shape before you add funny exercises.

You shouldn't stick to pushups, mix them up, pushup + pullups. Do assisted pull ups if needed (using a sturdy chair).

Do a set of pushups, then a set of pull ups, repeat etc..

meaning you locked your elbows at the lowest point(hung) then pulled up, went down, locked elbows out, then went back up.
