X-BOX 360 vs PS3
Game stop has this special, 50% extra cash back for all trade in's, and 30% stackable cash back (only if you put your trade ins down, as a downpayment/hold on soon to come items......)
now XBOX360 has this new Final Fantasy XIII cover plate 240harddrive bundel pack for 399$...(only N.America released) on 3/9/10......
so is this worth getting, or should i go PS3?

Well, here's my input.
The PS3 is an okay system, I've played it from time to time and all the games are great. If you are a fan of JRPG's and such the PS3 has LOADS of those (especially if you can get imports and what not). However, the PS3 online community/features sucks.
The Xbox 360 has tons of "legendary" games (Halo 3 ... er, that's about it) and the online experience is actually fairly nice. However, the community is still very shitty and consists of 10 year old kids.
Then again, you should really decide for yourself on what you want.

Killzone 2 has arguably the best online FPS gaming of any game ever.

I never decided to play Killzone 2, but I have played one. I wouldn't doubt Killzone 2 was asdfghjkl all over the place fun.

I agree 100% with you. I would trade my 360 in purely because I play RPG's more then anything else and love the 360 controller now. I don't know if I could go back to a Sony controller. It really is all preference, see what games interest you the most and then get that system.
If you aren't a huge community player, I played COD5 for a good 6 months online and never used mics and never had a problem with annoying little kids, but that's because I play when others are around and was never a huge online player so again it all depends on you.

I prefer the Playstation 3 controller. Been using Playstation controllers since I was like 6. XBox 360 controllers are okay too. The only controller that has ever pissed me off was the XBox 1 controller. It was horrible. Anyway, Battlefield comes out today, I preordered it, and yet I still have not found a Playstation 3.

Get what has the most games you like.
Ultimately, the only objectivity between the two is tech specs. The PS3 is more powerful, but I don't particularly give a shit because I've had toasters more useful than the PS3. I wouldn't be using it much.
Some people, like Lothia, would use it a HELL of a lot because it appeals to them.

I have a PS3 and 360 and I much perfer the Xbox.
The PS3 is the better console but the games arn't as good.
Resistance (1&2) was a huge disappointment and the online is so incredibly easy sniping against 30 people. Mag also was pretty crap, yay huge battles but nay to shitty controls and either a mute or equally as anoying community.
Killzone 2 is pretty epic, so is LBP.
But for me the Xbox wins games like L4D, Fable 2, Halo 3 and GoW and it still has a huge selection of JRPGs such as Lost Odyessy, Magna Carta 2 and Tales of Vesperia not to mention Final Fantasy.
