Your router should have a page where it says how the connection is (connected disconnected etc), or at least I hope your router does.
The page to access the router is usually '192.168.1.1' , '192.168.0.1' or '192.168.2.1' . If not check your user manual for the address and log in details.
This most likely will help you determine what the error is.
Or the line got degraded too much and it can't handle your speed anymore. :/
My line can't handle 4mbps in a stable way. It'll disconnect multiple times a day (from 5mins inbetween up to 3 hours) and there's nothing you can do except to call and ask them to lower your line.
