Check if the cables are properly plugged in and check what your router says when it disconnects.

Yeah, all of the cables are plugged in properly. Uhh and when it fails I always have to go and unplug the router then plug it back in.

And...what do you mean what does my router say when it disconnects?

Snow's Advice is right on, when dealing with computers you should always check for the most obvious solution first. If there doesnt appear to be anything wrong with your router then the problem is most likely the fault of your ISP. Im assuming you goto your phone company as an internet provider. DSL service is delivered simultaneously with regular telephone on the same telephone line as it uses a higher frequency band that is separated by filtering. So in other words even thought Broadband thru phone companies are seperate from Dial-up in that they use a different frequency and thus don't disrupt communication, they are still transmitted via phone lines and fiber optic cables...if the phone or cable provider which gives you internet access is working on the lines...your access will be disrupted. Nothing to do but wait it out and complain if it goes on too long.

Your router should have a page where it says how the connection is (connected disconnected etc), or at least I hope your router does.
The page to access the router is usually '192.168.1.1' , '192.168.0.1' or '192.168.2.1' . If not check your user manual for the address and log in details.

This most likely will help you determine what the error is.

Or the line got degraded too much and it can't handle your speed anymore. :/

My line can't handle 4mbps in a stable way. It'll disconnect multiple times a day (from 5mins inbetween up to 3 hours) and there's nothing you can do except to call and ask them to lower your line.

Hmm..ok ill try that. Or maybe its what you said and the line degraded? But I dont know, it only happens after like 12 hours of uptime on my computer or PS3.

Edit: Uhh, what was that command that gives me my IP thing?

It's in your router's user manual (safest bet if you need to enter a pw) or your could use cmd with ipconfig. You'll need the standardgateway.
