i live in Trinidad and Tobago in the caribbean near venezuela and last time i tried to play Mabigoni i was blocked,they said i couldnt play in my country .....
i heard good reviews about this game,has the IP blocks stopped or what?

I don't get why japan/taiwan/china aren't IP blocked, while NA and Europe are.

OT yeah...you've got a bit of a tough spot there....I'd guess find a working proxy for NA or EU mabi, since yous peak English.

No, I mean, why aren't the taiwan/china/japan versions IP Blocked?
Last time I checked, the NA version had an IP Block due to licensing issues (meaning that the hoster isn't allowed to include other countries outside NA).
However, if that was true, the the taiwan/china/japan versions should have IP Block as well.
In short, is Nexon IP Blocking because of the license, or because their servers suck and can't hold many people?

Actually, he used the correct form.
He meant to say "There's IP blocking in EU and NA."
TW version is hosted by Gamania while the Chinese version is hosted by Tiancity.
That could be why they don't IP block.
However, the Japanese version is hosted by Nexon JP, so... No idea about JP version.

Well , I feel your pain since I'm also a Mabi fan . Unfortunately , I still can't play it since there are no versions available for my region , but there's a game that looks exactly like mabi and that's N.E.O online , it's a good game with living skills like mabi : fishing , wealing , cooking , etc and there are no classes so you can freely build any kind of character mixing all the skills like warriors / mages , gunners / mages and more .
so I highly suggest you to try it out , you won't be disappointed since it's really like mabinogi Life .

You can proxy and still play NA pretty decently.

Granted you can usually compensate for it, when the game suddenly tells you to **** off and that red skeleton has sex with your brain....yeah.

no lags when you play on the right server. When i play on the eu server (and i am from germany) than i have only lags when i have many dls on. Without dls - no lags and a red skeleton will never f uck my brain because its dead befor he can think about itbut anyways, I guess I wouldn't bother, the lag in the game is annoying because of how they set up the movement of packets.
