They might be worried of those who might compare the two and conclude that the second is crappier than the first - might be a smart move to advertise as a different game instead.

The new name sounds more mature, Mabinogi Heroes ain't really meant for the kiddies in the first place. Trying to keep the younger crowd in Mabinogi I guess.

Just because it's marketed towards an older audience doesn't mean that an immature community can't gather. Nexon is a huge company with players of various age groups.

I'm sure they'll gather as they always do, but I can still keep my hopes up and hope the marketing scheme draws in more older players. I don't mind if they have various age groups, I just hope the majority are semi-mature players.

Oh yea that is true. I've read so many times on the Nexon forums about people complaining saying that Mabinogi Heroes sucks because it's nothing like Mabinogi-orly? Hopefully people will stop comparing the graphics as well because it's not "kawaiidesuanimu^_^" like Mabinogi
