    Kids aren't missing out.

Kids "these days" don't have the nostalgia we do because this is their time. Our times weren't any better necessarily (Maybe in some ways), they were just fondly remembered.

Besides, most of you were '90s babies. You don't remember all the things as fondly as '80s kids do.

I was 1990, so I got the best of both eras IMO :]

Also - yeah, I know what you're saying...but I never see cool toys coming out anymore. Not like I had.

THERE IS NO MORE MIGHTY MAX >

Well by 1995 you were still only five years old. By then I was 10.

Anyway, the irony is that the franchises most of my generation loved are better off now, toys wise.

You look at the Transformers made in the '80s and stuff and compare them to the Transformers getting made NOW. They get blown away. The engineering, details and craftsmanship is way better.

    For example:

The former is the original Starscream, the latter is Masterpiece Starscream.

Granted, Masterpiece Starscream isn't even FOR kids; it's fairly expensive and too intricate for a child, but even the ones aimed at all ages are better now.
