You're best asking Bacn about it, as far as I know, he's the most experienced active member of the forums.
There's probably others in the woodwork however.

You should head over to http://pixel2life.com they have a ton of tutorials for blender 3d and other programs you and others maybe interested in.
Its actually one of the resources i used when i started learning photoshop and highly reccomend it

If you don't have any experience in modeling, I recommend paying a lot of attention to edge loops. They're one of the most important things involved in organic modeling and I personally found it a little easy to overlook. If you haven't gone there already,Blenderartists.org is one of the more important sites you should visit. You'll be able to find almost everything you need right there.

That's one tutorial in particular I'd recommend watching. I learned tons from it.
