If you don't have any experience in modeling, I recommend paying a lot of attention to edge loops. They're one of the most important things involved in organic modeling and I personally found it a little easy to overlook. If you haven't gone there already,Blenderartists.org is one of the more important sites you should visit. You'll be able to find almost everything you need right there.
