Default Browsers have extreme low download speeds.

Whenever i download something i get download speeds like 20kb/secs.
And this is only for browsers, when i torrent, i get my usual speed of 8mb/sec..
Tried Opera, IE8, Firefox, every of them gets me 10/20kb/sec.
Does anyone have a solution T_T?
And I'm on Wireless between =l.

A direct download can only be as fast as the bandwidth the server you are downloading from assigns you.

You're torrenting with 8mb/s? Good lie.

I just torrented 4GB in under then 20 minutes, and I'm trying to download the Opera browser, which gets 20kb/sec.
If you can't do anything then argue about what I am seeing on my screen then please go away.
Since the last thing your doing is helping me, i do not need to discuss if I'm looking at the wrong speeds or whatever.

And Idk where you live, but I live in Holland, and if you find 8mb/sec much, then Idk what to say about that, cause here in Holland, 8mbs, is tiny as hell.
120mbps is the max you can get in The Netherlands and you're lucky if you can download over 10mb/s with it. Try downloading a game from OnRPG and see what speed you get, should be pretty high, maybe you're downloading from a slow source.

    Well, look at this.
I had like 20 seeds here and got approx 1mb/sec hopping to 4mb/sec.

And here I'm downloading a silly 14MB file at 2kb/sec.

And ive tried various sites, FileFront etc etc.
All of them give me <30kb/sec.

Hatashi, you could ask the mods to remove all the 'spam'. :o

Anyways, since all browsers use port 80 and other application other ports, you might want to check if port 80 isn't locked or anything alike.
It doesn't seem really plausible to me, but you never know with computers.

I should update this but all my effort went into writing this lousy excuse.
