Default what new xbox360 game to get >.>

So, starting of the 2 week holidays. What new xbox360 game should i get, i want one with atleast 20+ hours all-up that can keep me entertained. i was thinking of supreme commander 2 or battlefield bad company 2. i didnt want to get battlefield as much as its a fps and usually fps's are short. i want to try supreme commander 2 as it says "choose from 1 of 3 gods" or something along there so i guess i can experience 3 campaigns, but aside from them, what NEW game should i get? (not really interested in bioshock2) and im not sure if i should get resonance of fate insted anyway. So, what game should i get? (i like rpg/rts/fps games. if its a fps, it has to be longer then most fps's since there usually short) and if anyone suggests a game like operation flashpoint 2 were you cant fire a shot without a helicopter ramming missles up your *** in mission 2 ill... err... something.

Get the new Dragon Age expansion pack, I believe that you need the original to play it though. The x-pack is only $20 though I believe.

    Umm hello MASS EFFECT 2

It's an RPG/TPS hybrid, and the campaign lasts around 30 hours if you do the sidequests, too.

Mass Effect 1 is really good, and you'll enjoy ME2 more if you've played the first.

Mass Effect 2 kinda sucked though. Sure it was good, but it wasn't nearly as great as the first game was.

Pretty sure he is, I mean fixing most of the combat issues and removing the samey side-missions can't make a game worse can it.

Anyway I second Mass Effect 2 and if you havn't played ME2 then the first one is the way to go.

Also if have live then get Bad Company 2.

I am not joking, I liked Mass Effect 1 much better than Mass Effect 2. The story was better, the (story) missions were in general of much better quality, I enjoyed the skill system better, the combat system was also much better (due to non regenerating health, more skills, etc). In Mass Effect 2, the skill system is too restrictive, the combat has been dumbed down drastically making it more of just run and gun, and the story was fairly weak IMO. I am not saying that it is a bad game by any means, it just isn't as good as the first one.

How, exactly, is combat more dumbed down in ME2?

If anything, it's more advanced. Playing on Insanity in ME2 is a ten times more tactical experience than it was in ME1. In ME1, enemies just spammed Immunity and rarely used abilities against you except for Carnage (and immunity.)

In ME2 enemies actually use tactics, provide covering fire to their advancing allies. In ME2, you have to deal with various defenses from enemies, and you are given different weapons and abilities to strip them from them. For example, Overload is effective against shields, Warp is effective against barriers, and so on. This means that your abilities, even if you don't have as many, are more important.

On every single level ME2s combat is smoother, more tactical and rewarding. Oh, sure, you have to deal with ammo now, but it was simply ridiculous that in the first game you could fire an assault rifle indefinitely, or could snipe an enemy over a hundred meters away with a shotgun.
