Yeah, I don't think it'll ever happen either . I've already given up on online games and I got into console games.

pay to play is the way to go man, i can't wait for final fantasy 14 and swtor to come out. I'm rootin for star wars more though, big fan of bioware games.

used to play WoW, but man it sucked the life from me. Still tempted to play again haha

Yeah, I can only really play p2p games because I'm always tempted from the cash shop, Some free to play games are okay, Companies like Aeriagames sure know how to bribe you. >.>

Me too man I played wow since closed beta till a last November. Picked it up again not to long ago right before ICC came out did ICC and quit. It's just boring now, it's enjoyable for a few months at a time but no more years of playing like I did when it 1st came out. Had a steady like 5-6 years with it and now I'm bored of it and can not find anything. I've been using these forums for years as well even when I was playing WoW trying to find a game to play when not raiding and nothing has come. Only 2 games that have kept my interest (f2p wise) was Knight Online and Aika. I tried all the p2p's out right now AoC, Aion, EQ2, Warhammer, CoH/CoV plus more they just don't have the material to make me want to p2p it.

I've also Given up on online games as well. About three years back, but when i did i felt empty so i started doing other stuff, joined karate, started to practice drawing and doing 3d models, now I'm in college studying to become a computer art major, doing really good in karate, and i also learned to play the guitar. I draw a lot lately, I'm also working for some people, on an mmorpg to make their models animations and etc, for free of course that helped me develop myself a lot. I do play occasionally though but not like i did back then, i used to have marathons of gaming. Guess were all growing out of mmorpgs

i don't think i could just grow out of gaming, been doing it since i was like 4 or 5 with mario. Quite cool you could find other hobbys. I've had my own over the past few years, but seems i always revert back to videogames sooner or later.

I tried some other p2p mmos like warhammer and lotro. I never understood why warhammer was so hyped. Amount of pve content was laughable when i bought the game, was really weird. Good pvp though. Lotro was quite fun from what i remember, but my computer at the time wasn't so good, so i couldn't really enjoy the game.

I think its hard for new mmos to compete with wow for one reason only, and that is the sheer amount of content wow has over the newer titles. Other than that they all play the same. Its kinda like all the games are runn'n on the same templete, especially the free ones.

anyways, most consistent thing i could find interesting with the computer is my daily porn

You'll never find a f2p game that amazes you, you should give up on that hope now. Lazy developers ruined any hope by using the same formulas and concepts as hundreds other games before it and just changing the wording and one minor inconsequential feature around in a weak attempt to make money by overcharging for simple things such as outfits and +percentages to experience (nexon, ogplanet, aeriagames...ect

Just hope that Blade & Soul, lineage 3, SWTOR, Secret World, or APB are worthy of your time. (I'd mention the new final fantasy mmorpg but let's face it, it's just ff11 with better graphics, which stems back to my "lazy developers" ranting)

Try playing P2P games perhaps? That is if you're willing to pay and have a steady income.

6 years and you still haven't given up geez man. I don't know why ppl keep expecting a miracle game out of f2p. I mean honestly how many time have we been let down by all the crap. If you really want a quality game go with p2p.

Whenever a new game comes out and people go crazy with the hype, I sit there a label those games with words like "awful" and "boring", BEFORE they are even released =O.

and I haven't been wrong yet.... dammit ignorance should be punished agree?

I downloaded the EU version but never installed it. I have been busy the past 3 days and haven't been on anything. xD
