soon enough i will be getting to play one P2P Mmo and i dont know which to choose
my choices are:
EVE
STO
LOTRO
Aion
COH/COV
And i wil take other recommendations except WOW,i played a PS for a good 2 years and it just got boring.I know the experience is different because less bugs,larger population etc. but i just dont have a feel for it anymore..and to level at x1 exp ...seems a bit too hard for me
So recommend me a good one to play,i am looking for both PVE and PVP elements,i wont PVP much though but i will PVE a lot
STO, don't bother with it atleast for a few months, the gameplay itself isn't bad but, there just isn't much to do yet. Warp to planet, do space combat, warp down onto planet, do ground combat, repeat. The combat itself is great, well, the space combat atleast. I loved the space combat soooo much, but there just isn't much there except kill kill kill. Eve...really hard to get into, really complex, amazing end game though. Much of your first few months playing will be simply setting up skills to train while you are offline and/or mining for little money. Once you get to endgame though, it is epic. LOTRO I have only played the trial of so I can't really say anything about it. Aion is just a pretty and very well done generic mmo for the most part. Sure you can fly, but only for like 60 secs at a time and only in certain zones. The "skill combo" system is interesting, but honestly doesn't add that much excitement to the game. CoX is a great pve game, loads of customization and ways to build your char, but, if you want to solo, this is not the game for you. Also, the pvp is pretty...bad. If you want a great pve/team mmorpg, try it, otherwise stay away.
great thing for EVE,my corporation from another game switched over and already settled and saiad if i prove my worth,they will pay for me monthly and they are already in wars with other corps and i hear PVp in EVE is amazing
i heard LOTRO PVE is great and you said COX too so i will think about it
Aion and WOW if i play that it will be on PS..wont pay just dont know why
STO i heard a lot of bad things about it so for now out of the way
