In all seriousness, I've stumbled across this game a few times and am having a lot of.. Fun playing it.
It's odd, me saying FUN in regards to any MMO game out there.
Now, to get down to the basics of the game it's a MMORPG Hockey game. You can customize your char. with items, and skills. There's three main positions, Center, Wing, and Defender. Defender is a long shot, and generally.. A defender.(It might be Deep, or deepfielder, but I'll call it defender). Wings, are nimble "point-guard"(For all you basketball fans ;-) ) kind of players. They can score, but can set up defenders for long, and center's for short shots. They score primarily off a quick one timer, and on breakaways. Center, can be played two different ways. You can spam "dribbles" or "Deeks" or whatever you want to call them, and score within a close or far range or rely on One timers and rebounds.
There's one game mode in rookie(Level 1-5), and that's 2v2.(There's still 1v1, 1v1 computers, 2v2 COmputers, but those are pointless, to me).
Once you reach level six, you have some new abilities and should know how to play the game decently, so you move onto the next CH where you can 3v3.
There's multiple playing styles for every position, and you can develope your own way of playing, the game does get "Cheesy" or reptitive when you're spamming one timers, and that's why it's great to switch things up.
Major downside ? The american population is LOW. There are a decent amount of EU's on(40 or so in it's prime hours). The company seems to have forgotten about the game.
I decided I'd post here, and try to get it some attention. Maybe one of you mod, admin people would like to try to get an event going between ONRPG and them, to A) Boos the population,Get some ONRPG's some items, C) Show the company there is SOME interest in the game, and maybe put them in a spot to do something with it.

I do have admin on this, and I do not advise DO NOT ADVISE you to mess with the GTA'ers, or FSSB players whom do not play Slapshot. Not exactly a kind community.
Message me(Akki), or YAGBOMB and we'd be more than willing to register you to the vent, and help you get started on slapshot.
It's a split GTA/FSSB vent, and since the game originated with me and a few other freestylers, we decided we'd use a vent that one of our friends use. You don't NEED to use vent, but if you post your IGN here your odds of playing, apposed to being on vent are much lower.
If you make a 1-5, I'd be more than willing, and as would other venters to help you level out of that CH. We can teach you the basics, and help you advance in the game.
Currently, I cannot play due to latency issues I'm having(My internet wire's exposed, and it's raining..) so I may put together some kind of in game list name , or something.
My in game names are Akki, and Kawai. Both are wings. Again, I can't play until later today, but if you need any help that I can give you in game, I'd be more than willing to give you a hand.
