It's cuz Babies r curious. When they heard funny sound, their attentions are driven elsewhere. If the sound seems calm enough, they'll calm down and if it's soth and weird they will laugh. If it's pwoerful like those mozarts, they will cry.

Another way is it hold a cloth over their mouth and go "shh..sh...shhhh.." Eventually they will go to sleep. :P

Wow, that's a very interesting concept. I would've never thought of that. People these days have so many weird ideas
