MGS4, Uncharted 2 is pretty awesome, but MGS4 just has that whole epic feel to it.

Yeah, if you played and enjoyed all other three MGSes you'll love MGS4.
If you haven't played them, then don't bother with MGS4. It can stand alone, but not too well since virtually all of the plot is a continuation of plotlines leftover from the previous three games.

Well each game has a really epic feel to it and both of them keep you immersed into the game.

Now for MGS4 what kept me entertained was not the game play but the story and graphics. If you have played the other 3 MGS's then you must really get #4. The cut-scenes were amazing as usual each never seeming bland or boring (some are like 20 minutes and yes im completely serious). I litteraly played through the game at least 7 times, first time around took me 32 hours total. And yes MGO really does suck, to me at least. So really it's more of a single player game.
Uncharted 2, what kept me entertained was the game play. Sure the backgrounds and stuff were all nice but I just wanted to get on and start killing people (although a few cut-scenes were amazing). I didn't even play the first uncharted and that didn't make that much of a noticeable difference in the story. Length wise...I beat campaign in about 7-9 hours, pretty short but worth it. Now for online, what I did first was Co op online, it was fun for a while then got boring, it was too easy. Competitive was nice, fast and hectic but the controls of the game made it seem a bit annoying for something that fast.
Pretty much if you have played the other MGS's get #4 if not don't even bother as it wont be as satisfying. This was my first ps3 game and it was well worth it.
Uncharted 2...i rented and if i had bought it i would of returned it within a weak. It had hardly any replay value to me but it was REALLY fun while it lasted.
P.S. MGS4 made me cry several times

U2's graphics is a WHOLE DIFFERENT RESOLUTION compared to MGS4. But mgs4 made me cry like a baby. BUT THE SCENARIES IN U2...
I dunno, adventure or action..
