Sure, if you want to buy an oversized iPod for the tripple amount of $.
Reputation: 424The iPad is a new type of device, it isn't intended to replace your phone or your laptop. If there's a gap in the market, fill it. If there isn't a gap, make one.
The iPad will sell by the truckload.

This is intended to replace the netbook. Yet I don't see you guys raving about not fitting a netbook in your pocket. It's not intended for you to stand around with white headphones and a hoodie gently exposing the trademark device. It's a bit more mature than the iPhone/iTouch and a little less than a MacBook.
But I'm betting Google will release its own version, which I will probably buy instead of this.

If you want a tablet get a MSI Tegra 2 because it is much more powerful and offers much more than the iPad.
They are both tablets but the MSI Tegra 2 is definitely the better choice so is all the other newer tablets coming out.
Also I never mentioned anything about portability I was just comparing two similar products.

The first thing I think of when I hear iPad is a portable music player that fits in my pocket, and that definately isn't this. And if it's meant to be a tablet it's not a very good one.
