The iPad is a new type of device, it isn't intended to replace your phone or your laptop. If there's a gap in the market, fill it. If there isn't a gap, make one.

This is intended to replace the netbook. Yet I don't see you guys raving about not fitting a netbook in your pocket. It's not intended for you to stand around with white headphones and a hoodie gently exposing the trademark device. It's a bit more mature than the iPhone/iTouch and a little less than a MacBook.

But I'm betting Google will release its own version, which I will probably buy instead of this.

Those are all over priced and there are better products in all of those areas.

If you want a tablet get a MSI Tegra 2 because it is much more powerful and offers much more than the iPad.

They are both tablets but the MSI Tegra 2 is definitely the better choice so is all the other newer tablets coming out.


Also I never mentioned anything about portability I was just comparing two similar products.

Then don't name it the iPad or give it the intention that it's even closely related to the iPod Touch at all. Call it the Mac Tablet or iTablet, but not a fucking iPad.

The first thing I think of when I hear iPad is a portable music player that fits in my pocket, and that definately isn't this. And if it's meant to be a tablet it's not a very good one.
