Well I don't think they should be able to deny her based on if they think she can get a job or not.

Although I have to agree that the field she wants to work in is a little hard to get into based on her height.
I guess it depends on exactly what area of that field she would want to work in.

    Working at a desk maybe.

But again a company doesn't want to hire someone who may be a liability to them.....they wouldn't want to take chances.

    "My, she's a tall one!"

It's kinda hard for the college, the workplace would only higher incase they would be filed for disablity discrimination.
And does the college itself even have the facilities to accomadate such a person?

Yes it's unfair for that person but I'm kinda on the college's side.

Also shes wants to work in health? Really? The actual hands on stuff or just the receptionist, hell even that may be to hard.

Whilst I feel really sorry for her - I can't help agree. The poor girl will find it incredibley tough going through collage - and if she goes to a hospital her height WILL be a major issue, you can't ignore her height in a feild such as that.

Regardless - I hope she makes it despite this, I really do.

I liked how they showed a picture of her in a cheerleader suit at the end.
    Wasn't irrelevant at all.

No one should be denied their education especially if they are willing to pay for it. If they feel that she can't get a job so what let her be leave that to the people that hire.

I do not feel sorry for her at all.

She 3 feet tall for **** sakes she will be useless in a hospital, and no hospital is gonna spend 200k plus to equip a desk for someone to fill out paper work.

I say more power to the college for telling her to piss off, and that her pie in the sky dreams are just that dreams.

Then again i am sure the people pissed about this are the same people who believe everyone should get the chance to play on school football teams...and that if the child is a moron they should be given a d and pushed on to the next grade.

She would be useless in the medical field due to her height i would be pissed if i was bleeding and in need of serious medical attention and the doctor or nurse had to take time to wheel over his/her special ladder....and arm extensions lmao.

    useless
